Alta is a ski area in Utah, United States. It runs from 2600 m at the base to 3216 m at the summit. Within 1.2 km of the centre, the map shows 54 marked runs and 8 lifts, totalling about 29 km of piste. Over the last three winters the ERA5 reanalysis gives it 298 cm of snowfall a season, 495th (tied) of the 3,112 ski areas we measure worldwide.
