White Pass Ski Area
White Pass Ski Area is a ski area in United States. The terrain spans roughly 1673–1673 m above sea level. The mapped ski area covers about 5.3 km². Within 3.2 km of the centre, the map shows 73 marked runs and 8 lifts, totalling about 55 km of piste. Over the last three winters the ERA5 reanalysis gives it 522 cm of snowfall a season, 62nd of the 3,112 ski areas we measure worldwide. The model runs well below what resorts report, so the ranking is the meaningful part rather than the centimetre figure. Month by month, the most snow falls in December. March brings 76% of January’s snowfall. That is a steeper fall than the median for ski areas in the United States (85%): the snow here is concentrated early in the season.
